Teachers & Librarians

Skeleton Creek loves librarians and teachers! Use the study guide to get young readers excited with discussion questions and activities. The passwords file guides readers through all the Skeleton Creek video passwords and the mysteries they unlock. And the Skeleton Creek Investigations are a great way to engage students with real-world urban legends.

INTERACTIVE LESSON PLAN

SKELETON CREEK #2: GHOST IN THE MACHINE

Janice Gaskin, M.Ed 7th Grade English Teacher from Benjamin Franklin Middle School has created an interactive class project around Ghost in the Machine. Her playlist of activities and mini-lessons engages students as they explore figurative language, character development, plot, and more within Ghost In The Machine.

The grand finale? Janice’s class created their own video ending to Ghost in the Machine! Author Patrick Carman judged the top videos to select the winner!

Join the fun! Download the lesson plan and watch the video of the winners’ endings.
